Hope you are all smiling after last night’s performance.

The Event

The header gives it away really...

It’s a charity football match between ourselves and the Gosport CSC.

The Date/Time

Friday the 4 September 2009, at 7pm.

The Location

Saint Vincent College, Mill Lane, Gosport - for the game

And afterwards...

Upstairs at the Vine Pub, Stoke Rd, Gosport - for Drinks, disco and late bar and raffle of signed Celtic shirt and other prizes.

The Charity

Motor Neuron Disease.

The Kit

Gosport CSC in Celtic Home shirts, Southampton CSC in Celtic away shirts. It is an astroturf pitch so trainers are required.

Players

This is a friendly, 11 a-side game with as many subs as we what - please sign up with Stewart if you can play. Players will have to pay £5 each towards the cost of the hire of the pitch and are asked to get sponsorship - Stewart has forms for this.

Supporters

Please come along and watch - bring as many friends and family as you can. Also bring penny pots of change or foreign currency you have that you are prepared to donate to the charity.

A lot of work has gone into organising this event both by Stewart and Tim Donnachie (the new chairman of the Gosport CSC). I think it will be a great night and it is all for a great cause so please try to come long and support The Southampton Hoops!
